Bo Bryan has officially committed to his dream school.

The 18-year-old son of country star Luke Bryan has received several college football offers in recent months. As a senior quarterback at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, Bo has drawn interest from schools including Austin Peay, UT Martin, North Alabama, and more.

However, once he received an offer from the University of Georgia, he didn’t take long to decide. Bo will continue his football career as a Bulldog.

The announcement came just five days after Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo offered him the scholarship. According to On3, Bo accepted the offer during the same phone call.

“As soon as I got the call, I knew,” he said. “I knew that I was ready to do it. I literally committed on the phone with Coach Bobo. It was literally a dream come true.”

Bo has been a Georgia fan his entire life, thanks to his dad. Luke has been a longtime supporter of the team and has even appeared as a celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay when the show was in Athens.

“I remember being at games and my parents holding me. I’ve always been a Georgia fan,” Bo added.

About Bo Bryan’s High School Football Career

Georgia was the only Power Four program to offer Bo a scholarship.

He is considered a three-star prospect in the 2027 recruiting class. Standing around 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, he ranks No. 141 among quarterbacks and No. 2,052 nationally in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Bo has put up impressive numbers this season after stepping into the starting quarterback role for Battle Ground Academy. After serving as the team’s backup quarterback, he took over as the starter this fall and helped lead the Wildcats to a 6-1 record. He has thrown 74% of his passes for 2,006 yards and 30 touchdowns to only three interceptions, per ESPN.

Unfortunately, Bo’s season has come to an end after he suffered a broken collarbone during BGA’s game against Pope John Paul II on October 16. He underwent surgery and is now recovering.
