Bunnie XO’s Slip-Up May Have Gotten Jelly Roll Banned From Houston Rodeo
on Mar 08, 2024
Bunnie XO may have accidentally caused some trouble for her husband, Jelly Roll, following their appearance during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Wednesday, March 6.
Bunnie took to social media to address the incident in a video, starting with a candid confession: “Your girl messed up.”
Continuing her explanation, she informed viewers about the strict no-swearing policy enforced by the Houston Rodeo.
“Apparently at the Houston Rodeo, you’re not supposed to cuss,” she explained. “You’re not supposed to say one bad word onstage, and if you do, they’ll turn the lights on, kick you out, and never let you come back again.”
Adding to the distress, she disclosed with a raised hand, “Nobody told me this!”
Continuing, she revealed that before the show, Jelly Roll had asked her if she wanted to join him onstage. Her response was a firm no.
“I’m already weird and awkward as it is,” she said. “75,000 people? I’m not good with a microphone, I’m not good with crowds, and I stick to a script that we have done for the past freaking decade.”
Bunnie goes on to explain that despite their prior conversation, Jelly Roll still insisted on pulling her onstage during one of his songs.

Bunnie then let a video clip from the moment speak for itself.
“I hope you guys enjoy this little blunder over here.”
In the video, Jelly Roll is seen handing her the microphone, and she greets the crowd.
“Houston, what the f*** is up?”

As of now, it seems that Jelly and Bunnie have not been banned from the prestigious event.
A rep for the Houston Rodeo told Billboard:
“I can say that they are NOT banned and we would absolutely love to have both of them back. We are a family-friendly show, but there isn’t a rule in place that bans anyone for cursing.”
Despite the minor mishap, Wednesday night marked a monumental occasion for Jelly Roll.
Stepping onto the stage at NRG Stadium, he encountered a massive crowd of 75,000 people, which marked the largest audience he had ever performed for.
Overwhelmed by the moment, tears welled up in his eyes as he addressed the crowd.
“As of right this moment, as of right this second, on March 6 of 2024, at the Houston Rodeo, at the NRG Stadium, this is officially the biggest show of my entire life!”
