Carly Pearce Takes A Hard Fall On Stage

For those who think performing live on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans is an easy job, think again. Carly Pearce is the latest country star to take a tumble on stage and continue on as if nothing had happened.

Carly Pearce was performing at the Delaware Country Fair in Iowa when her feet slipped out from under her and she landed hard on the stage. Fan videos captured the moment and viewers agree….that fall had to hurt.

Videos posted to social media show Carly fall, landing hard on her backside. The crowd reacts with concerned chatter and gasps as a member of her crew rushes to the stage to help. But Carly was already back on her feet and continued to sing.

Pearce was singing her 2020 hit “Next Girl,” the lead single from her third studio album 29: Written In Stone. Just as Carly stood up from her tumble came the lyrics, “I bet he said he never falls this hard. Yeah, I remember that part.”

Carly Pearce was quick to make light of the situation by posting a video to social media with a caption that read, “First fall on stage, better make it count.”

Carly is the latest country singer to take a tumble while performing, joining the likes of Shania Twain and Morgan Wallen.

Shania Twain took hit to the stage while performing in Chicago during her Queen of Me Tour two weeks ago. A video clip shows the 57-year-old march across the stage in her knee-high glittery boots as she sang “Don’t Be Stupid” when one foot slipped, sending her to the floor. But she didn’t miss a beat, yelling to the crowd, “Don’t be stupid, Chicago! You know I love you!”

Twain replied to the reaction to her fall online, saying: “I did stick the landing though 😉 .”
