This hilarious musical moment unfolded during Stapleton’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he participated in a segment called “Wing It & Sing It.”
The premise of the segment was simple yet challenging: Stapleton was tasked with performing a made-up song that he had never seen before in front of a live studio audience. The lyrics were revealed to him on cue cards one by one, and he had to come up with a melody and sing along to the words.
“This is really silly,” remarked Stapleton, prompting a chuckling response from Kimmel, “Yeah, you shouldn’t have done this.”
Stapleton’s impromptu performance turned into a humorous and lighthearted tribute to the beloved actor. It referenced Stamos’ iconic role in Full House and included funny lines about his physique, including “An incredible bod on my Greek golden God,” before Stapleton burst into laughter.
The audience was treated to lines like “He’s the feta cheese in my Greek salad” and “I’d give my left nut to be part of his squad.”
Stapleton jokingly expressed his willingness to trade all the whiskey in Tennessee for a chance to spend time with Uncle Jesse, a reference to John Stamos’ character in Full House. He then playfully suggested that perhaps if he shouted Stamos’ name three times in a row, “he’ll appear in this studio.”
As the performance unfolded, John Stamos himself made a spontaneous appearance, walking out on stage to join in the fun.
The actor then pulled open his white blazer to reveal that he was wearing a Chris Stapleton t-shirt, proving he was equally a huge fan of the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer.
