Colter Wall Discreetly Gets Married Amid “Indefinite Hiatus” From Touring

Colter Wall is now a married man!
The country singer and Canadian native discreetly said “I do” in Saskatchewan over the weekend. Wall lives a notoriously private life, so it’s no surprise he kept his wedding plans under wraps. His wife’s name remains unknown to the public.
News of the couple’s nuptials emerged in a few posts shared by Wall’s friends. Jake Dillon Groves, who plays harmonica in Wall’s band, shared a celebratory post on Instagram, writing:
“Congrats to the newlyweds! Thanks to the Cooper/Wall families for a great celebration. So good to see everyone!“
The first picture in Groves’ post shows him with the bride and groom. The new Mrs. Wall wore a white lace dress with separate sleeves, while Wall donned a white button-up shirt, jeans, and a black cowboy hat.
Based on other photos Groves shared, it appears the ceremony and reception were both held outside.
Hayden Redwine, a country artist who’s opened for Wall on tour, also shared a few photos from the wedding. Redwine said:
“Congratulations to two of my favorite people. Just doesn’t get much better. Saw some beautiful country and had a big time up here.”
Texas country singer Shelby Stone was another guest at Wall’s wedding. She shared a series of photos from the special day on Instagram, captioning them:
“Canada is pretty sweet if you ask me 🙂 Congratulations to the Walls!”
Colter Wall’s Wedding News Comes Four Months After He Stepped Away From Touring
On March 11th, Colter Wall announced that he would be taking “an indefinite hiatus from live music.” The “Cowpoke” singer said he had been feeling “mentally unwell.”
“Despite this, I have pushed myself to continue with touring,” Wall said, “As a result, my mental health has only further declined.”
To focus on his well-being, Wall canceled all of the shows he had left on the books for 2026. He thanked his fans for their understanding and said refunds would be issued to ticketholders.
Wall suffered a devastating loss less than two weeks later, when his longtime bass player, Jason Simpson, died at the age of 51:
“Stood beside me for 10 years, on stage and off. Rest in peace my good friend. You are missed,” Wall wrote in a tribute to Simpson on March 24th.
Since then, Wall has shared a few photos and videos of himself working on his ranch back home in Saskatchewan.
Wall is one of several country artists to take a sudden break from touring in 2026. Some of those artists, such as Jake Worthington and Justin Moore, have since returned to the road, but Wall doesn’t have any immediate plans to do so. The “Tour” section of his official website doesn’t list any upcoming performances.
