Witney Carson Reveals Pregnancy & Her Plans For Next Season Of “Dancing With The Stars”

Witney Carson, who danced to victory with Robert Irwin on Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, shared some personal and professional news on Monday (August 17).
For starters, Witney and her husband, Carson McAllister, revealed that they are expecting their third child! The couple already shares two sons: Leo (age five) and Jet (age three).
Witney and Carson shared the news alongside a video of them posing for pictures in a photobooth with Leo and Jet. Witney pulls out her sonogram photos at one point as they all smile for the camera.
“We’ve been keeping a secret… a new addition to the McAllister gang coming soon! We are so grateful and overjoyed to be growing our family,” Witney shared in the caption.
She did not reveal the baby’s gender or due date.
Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars is slated to start on September 15. We currently know the names of only four contestants, while the others will be revealed on September 2.
Naturally, after her championship run on Season 34, fans are curious to know: will Witney Carson still compete on Season 35 now that she’s pregnant? She answered that question during a Monday morning (August 17) appearance on Good Morning America (GMA).
Witney Carson Addresses Her Future On Dancing With The Stars
Those who were hoping to see Witney Carson on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars can breathe a sigh of relief, because she still plans to compete!
She acknowledged that participating on the show does seem a little “daunting” this time. “I’ve never been this far along pregnant and competing on Dancing with the Stars…I don’t know if it’s ever been done.”
That wasn’t the only news Witney had to share. She also revealed the name of her new celebrity partner.
Witney will be joining Jimmy Kimmel Live! star Guillermo Rodriguez on the dance floor this season. Guillermo was one of the four already-announced contestants for Season 35 alongside Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson and reality TV stars Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller.
“Dude, I was so stoked” Witney said on GMA about working with Guillermo. “I think he is so sweet. He’s so fun. That’s exactly what I need in this season of life that I’m in, just someone who’s fun, personable.”
In addition to Guillermo and Robert Irwin, some of Witney’s other celebrity partners on Dancing with the Stars have been Alfonso Ribeiro, Carlos PenaVega, Von Miller, Vanilla Ice, Frankie Muniz, and Wayne Brady. She and Alfonso won Season 19, and he now serves as a co-host on the show.
