“Dancing With The Stars” Crowns Season 33 Champion

Another season of Dancing With the Stars came to an end Tuesday night with the crowning of a new winner.
Five teams of celebrities and professional dancers performed for the last time during Tuesday night’s finale. Each team danced a freestyle routine and another dance of their choice in an effort to win America’s votes for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
The teams who made the finale are actress Chandler Kinney and pro dancer Brandon Armstrong, Bachelor star Joey Graziadei and pro Jenna Johnson, Olympic rugby star Ilona Maher and pro Alan Bersten, professional football player Danny Amendola and pro Witney Carson, and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and pro Rylee Arnold.
Throughout the night, scores were fairly high across the board, with a few perfect scores thrown in for Joey Graziadei, Stephen Nedoroscik, and Chandler Kinney. The perfect 10s put these stars at the top of the leaderboard, but it was ultimately the fans who chose the winner.

After 10 impressive competition performances, appearances from celebrities eliminated earlier in the season, including Anna Delvey, Jenn Tran, Brooks Nader, Tori Spelling, and more, and the return of Dancing With The Stars pros Derek Hough and Mark Ballas to the ballroom floor, it was finally time to announce the winner.
The first couples to be eliminated were….Danny and Witney, Stephen and Rylee, Chandler and Brandon.
This left Joey and Jenna and Ilona and Alan as the Top 2 contestants in the running for the mirrorball trophy. Hosts Alfonso Ribiero and Julianne Hough revealed that the Dancing With The Stars Season 33 winners are….
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson!
After accepting his trophy, Joey was asked how he feels. He responded that he feels like Jenna deserves this and that the trophy is all for her. He added that the win “means everything. This whole experience has been unbelievable, honestly. Everyone from the beginning…Ilona, you have been amazing this season. I love you.”
