Similar to last year’s format, loved ones will join some of the contestants on the floor during their routines.

DANCING WITH THE STARS DEDICATION NIGHT PERFORMANCES

This year’s dedications will include performances in honor of loved ones who have passed, parents, siblings, and one dancer will pay tribute to her home country.

Here are this week’s songs, dances, and dedications:

  • Actress Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa will dance a contemporary routine to Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” in honor of Stiles’ late co-star Heath Ledger.
  • Actor Harry Shum Jr. and his dancer Jenna Johnson will dance a foxtrot to “Stop This Train” by John Mayer in honor of Shum’s wife, Shelby.
  • Savannah Banana’s star Jackson Olson and his professional dancer Emma Slater will perform a quickstep to “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole and it will be dedicated to Olson’s mom, Laura.
  • “Bachelor” star Tyler Cameron and dancer Sharna Burgess will dedicate their contemporary dance to “Supermarket Flowers” by Ed Sheeran to mothers everywhere.
  • Actress Jenna Dewan and her pro partner, Alan Bernsten, who stepped in for Val Chmerkovskiy, who is currently suspended from the show, will perform a Viennese waltz to “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers in honor of her mom, Nancy.

  • Comedian and podcaster Connor Wood and his partner Rylee Arnold will dedicate their dance to Wood’s dad, Pete. They will dance a Viennese waltz to “Piano Man” by Billy Joel.
  • Paralympian Ezra Frech and his professional partner Daniella Karagach will dedicate their contemporary routine to “Bloodline” by Mon Rovia, in honor of his mother, Bahar.
  • Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn and her partner Pasha Pashkov will dance a contemporary routine set to “Breathe Me” by Sia dedicated to the Glenn’s sister, Brooke.
  • Television personality Maura Higgins and her pro partner Mark Ballas will dedicate their paso doble to her home country of Ireland. The couple will dance to “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” by Dropkick Murphys.
  • Actress Tatyana Ali and professional dancer Jan Ravnik will dance a Viennese waltz routine to “(You Don’t Know) How Glad I Am” by Nancy Wilson in honor of Ali’s late “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” co-star, James Avery, who played her father in the series.

At the end of the night, the 7th celebrity of the season was sent home.

As with every season, the weekly results grow more difficult and are often surprising.

With only five weeks of competition left, the grueling practice and competition schedule is taking its toll on some of the dancers, while others are finding their stride.

At the end of the episode, hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonzo Ribeiro were set to reveal which couples were safe and who was in danger of going home.

Alfonzo announced that the couples in danger were … nobody! In a surprising move, no one was eliminated this week, meaning that all 10 teams will be returning to the ballroom for next week’s Halloween Night.
