Dispatch Call Reveals Hayden Panettiere’s Alleged Cause Of Death

Beloved actress Hayden Panettiere died Sunday, August 16, at the age of 36.
Less than 24 hours after Hayden Panettiere died, audio of the dispatch call has been released.
The day after her passing, Greenville, South Carolina, authorities issued a statement saying that emergency personnel responded to a report of an unresponsive female at Judson Mill Lofts just before 2 p.m.
When authorities arrived, they found Panettiere and administered aid. According to TMZ, first responders administered “advanced cardiac life support” in an attempt to resuscitate the actress, but attempts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m.

Local news sources report that the actress was traveling with her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, who is from Greenville. The case is under investigation, and preliminary findings showed no signs of foul play.
An official cause of death for Hayden Panettiere has not been released pending an autopsy that is slated for Monday. But, Broadcastify dispatch audio obtained by Country Rebel points to cardiac arrest due to an overdose.
In the audio, the dispatcher is heard sharing the location of the incident and telling responding authorities that the call was for cardiac arrest. An officer responds, saying, “Overdose. CPR is in progress.”
An investigation into her death is being led by the Greenville Police Department and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.

Hayden made her first on-screen appearance at just 11 months old in a commercial for Playskool. A few years later, she landed her first recurring role on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live, followed by another soap opera role in Guiding Light.
Her career and notoriety grew as she continued to act in guest roles on television series like Malcolm in the Middle, Ally McBeal, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her first starring role came when she was 15 and starred in the Disney Channel’s Tiger Cruise.
Another lead role came a few years later when she starred in Heroes, a series about a high school cheerleader with healing powers.
Perhaps the biggest role of her career came when she was cast alongside Connie Britton and Charles Esten in Nashville. She appeared in all six seasons of the show and earned two Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film.

Other notable roles include Bring It On, Racing Stripes, Remember the Titans, and multiple appearances in Scream franchise films.

Hayden is survived by her parents, Skip Panettiere and Lesley Vogel, and her daughter, Kaya Evdokia Klitschko, whom she shared with Ukrainian former professional heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Jansen, who died in 2023 at the age of 28 due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) and aortic valve complications.
