Ella Langley Falls On The Floor In Priceless Response To Her CMA Nominations

Nominees for the 2026 CMA Awards were revealed on Thursday, September 10. Ella Langley earned an astounding nine nominations, making her the most-nominated artist at this year’s ceremony.
This news came as no surprise to country fans. Langley has experienced a whirlwind of a year since the release of her single “Choosin’ Texas” in October 2025.
The song has spent 21 non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 chart. It is just two weeks away from becoming the longest-running chart-topper in Hot 100 history.

“Choosin’ Texas” accounted for three of Langley’s CMA nominations. It’s up for Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.
Langley’s “Be Her” was also nominated for Song and Single of the Year. “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” the song she recorded with Morgan Wallen, received a nod for Musical Event of the Year.
Langley’s sophomore album, Dandelion, is up for Album of the Year, while Langley herself is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. She also received her first nomination for Entertainer of the Year.
Ella Langley Reacts To Her 2026 CMA Nominations
After the nominees were announced, Ella Langley shared a video of herself reacting to the news. Her fans found the clip hysterical, watching as Langley lost more composure each time her name was mentioned.
At one point, Langley got so excited that she spilled coffee all over herself and had to change her clothes.
But the most priceless part came when Langley learned she was a nominee for Entertainer of the Year. She fell to the floor, eyes wide, clearly in shock.
After hopping back on her feet, Langley said, “This is the one that I can not…” before trailing off. She was obviously in a state of disbelief. One of her friends even stopped to check the singer’s pulse.
The video already has over 4,000 comments on Instagram from Langley’s fans and her famous friends.
“Hahaha you’re a treasure!!!!! Sooo proud of you!!!” wrote Emily Ann Roberts.
Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild said, “Congrats Ella!!!!!! So well deserved.”
Morgane Stapleton commented, “Go baby GOOOOOOO.”
“We made the right gal famous,” wrote one fan.
Another fan said, “Very much deserved can’t wait to see you sweep it all!!”
