Every Yellowstone Universe Star Spotted In “The Rescue” Trailer

The official trailer for The Rescue just dropped, and fans spotted a few familiar faces from the ultra-famous Yellowstone franchise.
Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for the upcoming Western thriller, The Rescue. Written by John Fusco and directed by Posty Ponciroli, the suspenseful film follows a former rodeo cowboy who “takes matters into his own hands” when his daughter is kidnapped for ransom.
He is accompanied on his mission to bring her home by his faithful dog, who picks up her scent in an area where authorities advise him not to go. Together, they will “stop at nothing to find her.”
The trailer shows glimpses of the many twists and turns on the action-packed journey. The cowboy’s rugged instincts and skilled marksmanship are vital components of the rescue mission. The Rescue will open in theaters on January 29, 2027.
The Rescue Features Familiar Faces
As excitement for the film builds, fans noticed that a few of the featured actors share ties to the Yellowstone universe. Learn more about the cast below!
Brandon Sklenar will star in The Rescue as the lead character Jamie Lee, a former rodeo cowboy hunting down his daughter’s kidnappers. He is known for playing Spencer Dutton in 1923, a rugged World War I veteran and hunter who is the nephew of Jacob Dutton (played by Harrison Ford).
Hassie Harrison will co-star as Kacey Tucker, a country music star and the ex-wife of Sklenar’s character. Her fame makes her the target of the kidnapper’s staggering $25 million ransom demand. Harrison is known for playing Laramie on Yellowstone, a barrel racer and hired ranch hand at the Dutton Yellowstone Ranch.
Josh Lucas will play a key supporting role in the upcoming film. Fans know Lucas as the young John Dutton on Yellowstone, the younger counterpart of lead actor Kevin Costner. He is also known for roles in American Psycho, Sweet Home Alabama, A Beautiful Mind, and more.
Additional cast members include Lorelei Olivia Mote, Nick Searcy, Austin Amelio, Spencer Treat Clark, Tim Blake Nelson, and Josh Duhamel.
