Fan Steals The Show At Back-To-Back Riley Green Concerts, Filling In For Ella Langley

At two back-to-back shows, Riley Green called on the same member of the audience to fill in for Ella Langley‘s portions of their hit duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Both nights, the fan confidently performed Langley’s parts, speaking clearly and singing beautifully.
Now, the videos of the fan’s repeat duets with Riley Green have amassed over 1 million views.

See The Back-To-Back Duets Between A Fan And Riley Green
On Oct. 2 and Oct. 3, Riley Green did two nights of shows in Durant, Oklahoma, at the Choctaw Grand Theater.
There, Green picked a fan in the audience on the first night to perform Ella Langley’s parts in their 2024 duet “You Look Like You Love Me.”
The fan, named Reese Nikole, knocked it out of the park.
Of course, it’s a tall order to request that anyone attempt to fill in for Langley on a song like that, as it’s a deceptively easy sounding song.
Since much of the song is delivered in a spoken verse manner (which is musically known by the German term of “sprechgesang”), getting the timing right is essential.
Throw in that it’s in front of a massive audience, too, and it’s suddenly pretty risky to put an audience member up to the challenge of performing.
The first night, it took a moment for her to overcome her disbelief that it was really happening, and yet she was still hitting her marks and delivering on the opportunity that Green had given her.
In the audience, Reese’s friends were so excited for her, with one of them seen throughout the recording putting Reese’s mom and a friend on FaceTime so they could see her big duet as it happened live.
Reese Nikole captioned the video, which has garnered over 1 million views, writing, “POV my biggest dream came true…”
On the second night, as Green introduced the song, he turned toward where Reese was seated, and said, “I had a very talented young lady get up here … and she’s here again. Is it possible that you’d [perform it again]?”
To this, she and her friends went wild, cheering her on.
He added, “If she can climb up here, she can sing.”
For the second night’s duet, Reese Nikole had seemingly overcome her nerves and was now a seasoned pro. Her singing ability was particularly highlighted in this performance.
Green even changed the lyrics to match Reese, giving a shoutout to “Oklahoma girls” and singing that “she was the prettiest thing I’d ever seen in a pair of tall brown boots,” which was what Reese was wearing for the occasion.
