Garth Brooks’ New Arena Tour Expands, 6th Stop Finally Announced

The time finally came for Garth Brooks to unveil another stop on his Blame It All On My Roots arena tour.
Brooks initially announced the new tour on July 7, although he only revealed the first stop at that time, which was Indianapolis. He spent the next two months announcing each city one by one, totaling five stops in all: Indianapolis, Denver, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Orlando.
Demand for tickets at the first three locations was so high that Brooks added two concerts to his schedule in those cities. An article on his website states that 380,000 fans were in the queue for tickets in Indianapolis, while 500,000 were in the queue for his shows in Denver and Chicago.
Finally, on September 9, Brooks revealed the 6th city on his Blame It All On My Roots arena tour. He’s heading to Salt Lake City on October 9 and 10! He’ll be performing at the Delta Center on those dates.

Garth Brooks Adds Two Shows To Salt Lake City
Fans who wanted to see Garth Brooks in Salt Lake City needed to be prepared on September 18. Tickets went on sale that day at 10 AM MT.
There weren’t any early opportunities to buy tickets, as there are no presales or advance sales. Unlike previous concerts on the tour, which were sold on Ticketmaster, tickets for the Salt Lake City concerts were made available for purchase exclusively on SeatGeek.
Every ticket costs the same price, no matter where the seat is located. That price has varied by location throughout the tour, but has never been higher than $155, which includes the service charge and facility fee.
Demand for tickets in Salt Lake City was high, with an article on Brooks’ website stating over 100,000 people were in line. Because of this, Brooks ended up adding a third show to the city!
He’ll now deliver a matinee performance on Sunday, October 11, in addition to the already scheduled shows on October 9 and 10.
“The whole goal of an on sale is to make sure any one person who wants a ticket gets one,” Brooks said upon announcing the addition of the new show. “I am so fortunate that anyone wants to come to the show.”
Tickets for the newly added October 11 show went on sale on SeatGeek on Tuesday, September 22, at 10 AM MT.
But then, after the sale “was disrupted by bot activity,” Brooks ended up adding a fourth show to Salt Lake City! He’ll now perform at the Delta Center on Thursday, October 8, which is the new opening night at that venue.
Tickets for the October 8 show will go on sale on Wednesday, September 23, at 10 AM MT.
