Gretchen Wilson Plans To Remake Her Entire Here For The Party Album

Gretchen Wilson and Ella Langley’s “Here for the Party” duet is the first piece of a larger project Wilson has been working on for a while.

While speaking on Rolling Stone‘s Nashville Now podcast in November 2025, Wilson revealed she was in the process of re-recording Here for the Party. She didn’t share a release date, but did provide one juicy detail: she’s remaking all of the tracks as duets.

“I’m going to have a guest vocalist on each song,” she announced. “I’ve gotten some promises from some pretty big names.”

Some of those “big names” include Cody Johnson, Tanya Tucker, Miranda Lambert, Travis Tritt, and Ella Langley. At that time, Wilson didn’t say which song Langley planned to join her on. But now, we know it was “Here for the Party.”

Wilson told Rolling Stone that Tucker will be featured on “Redneck Woman,” while Johnson will help her remake “When I Think About Cheatin’.”

“I played a show a few weeks ago with the amazing Cody Johnson, and he told me he and his wife have a favorite song on that record. So he’s going to sing that one with me…” she said.

We can’t wait to hear that one! In the meantime, listen to Wilson’s original recording below.
