Hannah Harper Joins Brad Paisley For Moving Duet Of “Whiskey Lullaby”
on

Back in 2003, Brad Paisley released his third studio album, Mud on the Tires, and it included a very special duet with Alison Krauss: “Whiskey Lullaby.”
Penned by country artist Bill Anderson, as well as Jon Randall, the song — known for its lyrical storytelling — went on to win the CMA Award for Song of the Year in 2005.
Over two decades later, as Paisley has been touring with Hannah Harper, the winner of American Idol Season 24, the song just took on a new quality as the two artists performed the song onstage together.

Watch Hannah Harper Sing “Whiskey Lullaby” With Brad Paisley
2026 has been a big year for Hannah Harper.
Not only did she win Season 24 of American Idol, but she has made some very significant steps in her budding career as a singer-songwriter.
From signing a record deal with 19 Recordings/Atlantic Records, to gaining global representation from major talent agency WME, she’s primed for success.
Harper has also made her Grand Ole Opry debut, and she’s been tagging along for several shows as an opener and featured performer on Brad Paisley’s 2026 tour.
At a concert on Aug. 27 at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Paisley started playing “Whiskey Lullaby” on his own.
As he got through the opening verse, his voice was joined by Hannah Harper’s as she walked onstage.
Together, the two sang the mournful song, leaving listeners in suspense with the end of each phrase they sang.
In the past, Paisley has sung “Whiskey Lullaby” with other female country artists, including Avery Anna, Alexandra Kay, and more.
