Hannah Harper Performs Live At Dollywood
Hannah Harper has been keeping busy traveling for performances nationwide since winning Season 24 of American Idol earlier this year.
Since her big win, we’ve seen her take the stage at the Grand Ole Opry, tour with Brad Paisley, and most recently perform at Dollywood’s Celebrity Theater. Hannah was part of Dollywood’s annual Harvest Festival lineup, which takes place every fall.
On stage, Hannah performed a few of her original songs, including “String Cheese” and “Hold Your Horses.” She also treated the crowd to a few covers, one being Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” as a tribute to the country legend.
It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t know Dolly’s hit “9 to 5.” The song has been a fan favorite for decades, first recorded by Dolly in 1980 for the comedy film of the same name. It was also featured on her album 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs, released that same year.
The song went on to earn an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song and won two Grammy Awards, one for Best Country Song and another for Best Female Country Vocal Performance.

She also made her cover available on all major streaming platforms, so fans can listen to her version anytime, anywhere.
In a post shared on Instagram about the release, Hannah wrote:
“Y’all!!! My version of “9 to 5” is officially OUT NOW!!! 💗🦋 Getting to sing this iconic song, at @dollywood of all places, was such a full-circle moment! Dolly has inspired so many of us girls with big dreams, and it means the world to me to put my own little spin on one of her classics. 🥹”
Fans are loving Hannah’s cover, and a few are even comparing her vocals to the country icon.
“You sound so similar to how Dolly did it. Sounds great,” one fan commented.
“Runnin’ to download! From the dress to the song Dolly would be so proud! 👏👏🦋,” wrote another.
“Wow sounds just like Dolly,” someone else said.
Dollywood’s official account also commented on Hannah’s video, saying,
“This will be on repeat for us all day 🎧 congratulations @hannahharper!”
