On Wednesday night, October 21, the Country Music Association aired a televised tribute to Dolly Parton titled CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton.
The two-hour special happened nearly two months after the country music icon passed away at age 80 following a brief, private battle with cancer.
The event took place at Belmont University’s Fisher Center in Nashville. Those who tuned in got to see some of country music’s biggest stars and some of Parton’s closest friends come together in one room to honor her life and legacy.

The star-studded lineup of artists who took the stage to sing some of Parton’s most beloved hits included Amy Grant, Ashley McBryde, Béla Fleck, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Ella Langley, Kelsea Ballerini, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Little Big Town, Lukas Nelson, Molly Tuttle, Reba McEntire, Ricky Skaggs, Sierra Hull, Vince Gill, Zac Brown, and more.
There were also special guest appearances made by Bono, Katy Perry, Carol Burnett, Goldie Hawn, Julia Roberts, and Oprah Winfrey.
