Jelly Roll & Ashley McBryde To Host This Year’s CMA Fest TV Special

Are you excited for the ultimate country music event of the summer? Here’s all you need to know about this year’s CMA Fest!

The 2024 CMA Fest, the longest-running country festival in the world, will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, from Thursday, June 6, to Sunday, June 9. In 1972, CMA Fest started out as Fan Fair, attracting 5,000 fans to Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Since then, it has drawn tens of thousands of fans from all 50 states and 39 international countries.

This year’s festival includes a stellar lineup of talented artists like Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, and many more! From A-list stars to aspiring talents, these country artists will grace the stages at various venues across Music City, such as the Bridgestone Arena, Ascend Amphitheater, the Riverfront Stage, the Ryman Auditorium, and more.

The iconic Dolly Parton will kick off CMA Fest at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center. Additionally, fan favorites such as Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, and Lainey Wilson will be featured at the CMA Close Up Stage as the Artists of the Day.

In May, PEOPLE exclusively revealed the lineup of Spotify House performers at CMA Fest. Musicians such as Luke Bryan, Lady A, Little Big Town, Shaboozey, and Dasha will take the main stage at Nashville’s iconic Ole Red venue from June 6-8.

The televised three-hour primetime concert special will air on Tuesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC and stream on Hulu the following day.

The Country Music Association announced on Monday, June 3, that the event will be hosted by Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde, who are also scheduled to perform at the Nissan Stadium stage during the festival. This dynamic duo is set to bring fresh energy to the event, promising “never-before-seen performances and special collaborations” from country music’s biggest stars.

Under the post, Jelly Roll commented, “Let’s go!!!” while his co-host, Ashley McBryde, commented, “Who’s ready to party?”

The CMA Fest TV special allows fans who can’t make it to Nashville to experience some of the action from the comfort of their homes!

With its rich history and tradition, the CMA Fest has become a staple in the country music calendar. According to a press release, this year’s broadcasting special marks the 21st consecutive year that the CMA has produced the exciting summer TV program. You won’t want to miss it!

In 2023, CMA Fest celebrated its 50th anniversary, making it a significant year for the festival. To celebrate, the Country Music Association produced a special TV program, “CMA Fest: 50 Years of Fan Fair,” which explored the rich history of Nashville’s largest music festival.
