Jelly Roll’s Staggering Weight Loss Journey

Since starting his health and fitness journey in 2022, Jelly Roll has lost over 200 pounds. He revealed earlier this year that he was now under 300 pounds, a weight he hasn’t been under since he was in middle school.

Jelly is doing things he hasn’t been able to do in years now that he has lost a significant amount of weight. In a video he posted to his Instagram last summer, the singer could be seen riding an electric scooter through the streets, grinning from ear to ear.

His hard work and dedication is evident in his transformation, and Jelly appears to be enjoying every single moment of it. A few months later, Jelly shared with his social media followers that he could now even “fit in Louis Vuitton.”

“Pray for my bank account,” Jelly joked in his caption. He posed in the brand, tagging Vatican City as his location while on a trip to Rome.

Jelly has been extremely vocal about his weight loss journey since then, sharing the highs and lows throughout his journey.

“…I encourage all really obese people to be patient that first month, your body is going through so many early changes. You’re not going to see the results you think you’re entitled to,” he shared.

The singer said that one of the biggest hurdles for him was not seeing results as quickly as he wanted to at certian points. Despite his setbacks, the singer achieved a major milestone when he landed on the cover of Men’s Health back in January.

Jelly Shares His Biggest Weight Loss Struggle

In a recent YouTube video, Jelly Roll candidly shared that he recently fell back into stress eating, explaining that one small indulgence quickly snowballed as the “addict” in him took over.

He said he stopped at a venue that served one of his favorite treats (a dairy-free skillet cookie) even though it’s something he normally stays away from.

“I’m like a drug addict,” he explained. “You can’t eat that, because if I eat one, I eat two. I eat four.”

Jelly compared the experience to addiction, explaining that once he gives in to temptation, he often finds it difficult to get back on track. The singer says that learning to recognize those patterns has become one of the most important aspects of his weight-loss journey.
