Kane And Katelyn Brown Have Picked A Name For Their Baby Boy

Country music sensation Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, are gearing up for the arrival of their third child, a baby boy, and although they just recently discovered the gender, the couple has already chosen a name.

Their Son’s Name

In an Instagram Q&A session, Katelyn revealed that they have finalized a name for their future son.

She shared, “We have a name picked out. We had a top list of our favorite three. And as of right now, we have the name. You know, we still have some months to go. But I think we have the name.”

Although Katelyn didn’t provide specific details about their son’s name, fans can speculate that, given the Browns’ dedication to the family tradition of using the initials “KB,” their son’s name will likely follow the trend. The Browns, who already have two adorable daughters named Kingsley and Kodi, have already proven that they are committed to upholding the “KB” legacy within their family.

It turns out that the couple have actually had a name picked out incase they had a boy for quite sometime. According to PEOPLE, during an interview with Audacy host Katie Neal on the Super Star Power Hour podcast last year, Kane revealed that they had selected a boy’s name even before the arrival of their second daughter, anticipating the possibility of having a son.

“We were of course trying to think of a K. The whole time when we had Kingsley, our next baby we were gonna name them Knight,” Kane explains. “We were hoping it was gonna be a boy at first but when we found out it was gonna be a girl I was like, ‘We could still name her Knight.'”

Kane did mention this back in 2022, merely 8 weeks after the birth of his second daughter. So, it is not confirmed that the name “Knight” will be chosen for their third child.

The couple initially announced their third pregnancy on Christmas morning, sharing a heartfelt photo featuring Kane, Katelyn, and their two daughters, accompanied by an ultrasound image. Just two weeks later, they unveiled the gender of the baby through a reveal video, where Kane initially guessed they would have another girl.
