Kelly Osbourne Opens Up About Her Complicated Relationship With Sister Aimee
Kelly Osbourne recently opened up about her estranged relationship with her sister, Aimee. Kelly is one of three children born to the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon Osbourne.
She has two full siblings: older sister Aimee and younger brother Jack. While Jack became a familiar face to fans through the family’s hit reality series The Osbournes, Aimee did not participate in the show and has largely kept her personal life private.
Kelly also has two older paternal half-siblings, Jessica and Louis, from Ozzy’s first marriage to Thelma Riley.

During the Tuesday (September 15) episode of the We Need to Talk podcast, Kelly opened up about her complicated relationship with Aimee, while discussing her sister’s decision not to appear on The Osbournes.
She began by saying she couldn’t share the “full truth” behind why Aimee didn’t participate on the show.
“We’re not close, but I do respect her enough to, you know, keep her anonymity, if you understand. I believe there’s a reason for everything. It just wasn’t meant to be for her,” Kelly explained.
Kelly also claimed that Aimee “didn’t really ever acknowledge” her or Jack growing up. Despite the complicated dynamics within the Osbourne family, Kelly has long shared a close bond with her mother Sharon.
“She was just in her own world doing her own thing,” Kelly said of her older sister. “And I do to a certain extent, if I’m honest, feel as though she was embarrassed of us.”
She revealed that one of the hardest parts of her life was feeling like she “never got a big sister,” saying she had to figure out many things on her own that she believed an older sister should have taught her.
“I just — I respect her. I accept her, but we’re different. And that’s okay … with family, there’s an assumption that because you share blood, everything should be shared. But I think the beauty in life is that you have an opportunity to also select who your family is,” Kelly continued. “If you’re not going to accept me for who I am, and constantly be trying to change me, and say horrible things about me, and truly seem to thrive when I’m not doing well, I don’t want you in my life.”
