Kid Rock And The Village People Among The Performers At Trump’s Inauguration

Donald J. Trump officially became the 47th president of the United States yesterday, January 20th. Due to severe cold weather in Washington, D.C., the historic inauguration was held inside the Capitol Rotunda.

Trump is only the second president in United States history to serve two non-consecutive terms. His first term in office was from 2017 to 2021.

A series of inaugural events, held over two days, featured various musical performances and special guests. Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Lee Greenwood, Parker McCollum, Kid Rock, and The Village People were among the names who lent their talents to the celebrations.

Kid Rock Joins The Village People On Stage

Eclectic disco group The Village People brought energetic performances to both the pre-inauguration rally on Sunday (Jan 19) and the Liberty Ball on Monday evening (Jan 20).

Their hit song “Y.M.C.A.” became a staple at Trump’s rallies while the politician was campaigning for the presidency.

While they performed the catchy tune at the ball, Kid Rock stepped out from side-stage to join the band. He watched as they performed the signature hand motions to “Y.M.C.A.” before taking a stab at the famous dance.

Donald Trump Jr. Reacts To Kid Rock’s Display

Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., was standing next to Kid Rock when he took the stage with The Village People and shared a video online of the funny moment. He laughs and exclaims:

“I did not have this in my bingo card!”
