Lainey Wilson Was One Of The Performers At The 61st Annual ACM Awards

The 2025 ACM Awards were held on Sunday, May 17th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lainey Wilson was part of the first round of performers announced, including Riley Green and Cody Johnson.

Later, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, Ella Langley, Zach Top, Dan + Shay, and Jordan Davis were all announced as performers.

It’s sure to be a fun-filled night, especially Shania Twain as the host!

Lainey Wilson’s ACM Award History

Wilson, who is the two-time reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, is the proud owner of a total of 16 ACM Awards, including Artist-Songwriter of the Year, ACM Triple Crown Award, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Music Event of the Year, Visual Media of the Year, and Song of the Year. In fact, the only category she hasn’t won that she is Song of the Year.

Not only has she won big at the ACM Awards, she is also a frequent performer! In2025, she sang “Whirlwind”

The year before, she sang a medley of “God Blessed Texas” and her hit song, “Hang Tight Honey.”

In 2023, she took the stage twice, once to sing her own song “Grease,”

And later in the show, she surprised the audience by performing “Save Me” with Jelly Roll.

She made her ACM performance debut in 2022 with her breakout hit “Things A Man Oughta Know.”

Lainey’s 2026 ACM Performance

Wilson made her sixth ACM performance on Sunday (May 17) when she sang her latest single “Can’t Sit Still,” and she opened the show!

The singer made her first appearance since marrying her longtime love, Duck Hodges, in a stunning Tennessee wedding.

She performed the high-tempo song with several backup singers, who couldn’t sit still themselves, wearing all white outfits to counter Lainey’s all black ensemble.
