Lainey Wilson Married Devlin “Duck” Hodges On May 10

On May 14, Vogue published an article announced that country star Lainey Wilson and her longtime love, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, tied the knot over the weekend in Tennessee.

They exchanged vows near the foot of a waterfall and celebrated with a reception inside Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee. Their wedding was attended by a star-studded list of guests that included Luke Bryan, Wynonna Judd, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Lauren Alaina, and Jelly Roll, among others.

Lainey ditched her signature bell bottoms for a stunning custom Oscar de la Renta wedding gown adorned with small Japanese cherry blossom embellishments.

The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” Wilson told Vogue.

Unfortunately, she didn’t go home with any awards, which surprised some fans. But, she still had an incredible night with her friends and her husband!

In fact, on the red carpet prior to the event, they couldn’t stop gushing about each other and their special night a week before.

They were asked what was the most special part of the day, and Wilson revealed it was the first time they saw each other. Hodges also revealed that their wedding day was the first time he’d ever seen her wear a dress!

He recalled, “That was the first time I’d seen her in a dress and it was one of the most stunning moments…I mean, she just looked unbelievable.”

He continued, “I told her after the wedding, it was so cool because, I felt like all night, me and her were just together in our own little world. And yes, we saw all of our friends and family, but we really made the night about me and her and it was great.

Wilson added, “It was perfect.”
