Academy Of Country Music Awards Take Place In Las Vegas, Nevada

Country music’s most talented artists gathered in Las Vegas, Nevada for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) Sunday evening. Hosted by country music legend Shania Twain, the show took place exclusively on Prime Video and featured an array of nominees including Ella LangleyLainey WilsonMorgan WallenJelly Roll, and more.

The show celebrated 61 years of Country Music and offered fans a number of unforgettable performances by some of the genre’s biggest stars.

Little Big Town Releases New Track

One of the most anticipated performances of the night came from eight-time ACM Award winners, Little Big Town. The group added another memorable performance to their long history with the annual country music celebration.

The Grammy-winning group, made up of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook, delivered a surprise performance with “Hey There Sunshine.”

“Hey There Sunshine” is the group’s newest single. The uplifting track marks their first new music in two years. The lyrics convey themes of renewal and positivity, with a focus on shedding burdens and embracing a brighter outlook on life.

The foursome took the ACM stage in Las Vegas to perform “Hey There Sunshine.” Karen led the performance, taking center stage with a backdrop reflecting a sunset.

“Songs are truly the most profound gifts,” she said of the new track. “We’re honored this one found its way to us. It’s a reminder of all the beauty around us and that it’s never too late to find it.”
