Luke Bryan Takes To The Ice For “Incredible” National Anthem Performance
Luke Bryan had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Nashville Predators Game on Wednesday (February 4). The American Idol judge was joined on the ice by two “Heart Warriors,” Luke and Neyland.
Young Luke and Neyland are associated with the Brett Boyer Foundation, the charity founded in honor of Caroline and Luke Bryan’s niece, Brett. Brett was born with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect, and sadly passed away when she was seven months old.
Now, the Brett Boyer Foundation has made it its mission to raise awareness of Congenital Heart Disease and to fund research into treatment options. They also wish “to spread the love and awareness that Brett filled us with for the wonderful, capable people living with Down syndrome.”
Little Luke and Neyland stood next to Luke Bryan as his special guests at the Predators game while he delivered a soaring rendition of the National Anthem. The team shared several photos from his uplifting performance, calling it “incredible.”

As part of their Music City Hockey Bobblehead Series, the Predators designed a bobblehead in Luke Bryan’s likeness. The first 10,000 fans in attendance that day received one of Luke’s bobbleheads.
Luke posed for a series of photos next to the figure, saying, “What do y’all think? Does he look like me? Thanks @predsnhl for having me and supporting @brightforbrett.“
