Kacey Musgraves And Miranda Lambert Released A Duet After Years Of Feuding
In March, Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert’s 2013 feud resurfaced thanks to some clips both of them shared on social media.
Musgraves shared a short clip from the 2013 CMA Awards of Lambert accepting the award for Female Artist of the Year, which Musgraves was also up for along with Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Clarkson.
Lambert addressed the “Merry Go Round” singer’s New Artist of the Year win by saying, “Kacey, congratulations on New Artist, that was awesome. East Texas girls gotta stick together.”
Musgraves had an emotionless, if not nasty, look on her face. Next to the video, she wrote, “You knew that I’d said some things about you.”
Lambert re-shared Musgraves’ story and wrote, “Well I’ve done my fair share of shit talkin’ too.”
Fan began to spiral, noting the history between the two women regarding the song “Mama’s Broken Heart,” which Lambert recorded and Musgraves co-wrote.
It was revealed on March 12th that Musgraves and Lambert recorded a song together titled “Horses And Divorces,” which is included on her brand-new album Middle Of Nowhere.

And now we know that their Instagram Story captions are the opening lyrics to their first-ever collaboration!
Miranda Lambert Crashed Kacey Musgraves’ Tuesday (May 5) Concert
To celebrate the release of her album, Musgraves lined up three nights at the iconic Gruene Hall in Gruene, Texas, the the oldest continually run dance hall in Texas.
The May 3rd performance became the live debut for nearly every song on the Middle of Nowhere album.
And while she debuted “Horses And Divorces” and performed it solo on May 3rd and 4th, Lambert showed up on May 5th to make her live debut on the song!
The crowd went wild when she walked on stage and even though the song hasn’t been out that long, everyone was singing every single lyric!
