Miranda Lambert Helps Band Member & Personal Assistant With Baby Gender Reveal During Vegas Concert

Miranda Lambert hosted a gender reveal during her recent Vegas show for two special people in her life. Her band member and her personal assistant!

During one of her shows for her Velvet Rodeo residency, Miranda paused to share some love for her personal assistant, Cameron Mitchell. She explained how they’ve been friends for nearly a decade.

That’s when Miranda mentioned that Cameron is pregnant! Someone filming moved to show Cameron in the crowd as she showcased her baby bump.

Miranda said Cameron’s “baby daddy” was onstage with her at that very moment. That’s because Cameron is married to Danny Mitchell, a member of Miranda’s band! He plays the keyboard and also serves as Miranda’s band leader.

Miranda Said To Watch For The Confetti

Miranda told the audience she was going to help with Cameron and Danny’s gender reveal. She said she was going to perform the song “Drunk” (which she recorded with Elle King), “Because that’s on brand for our white trash as—.”

She told everyone to watch for the confetti at the end of the song. It’d be blue for a boy, or pink for a girl.

Miranda shared a video of the gender reveal on her Instagram page. She captioned it, “We had a Velvet Rodeo first last night y’all!!! A gender reveal for @cameronruthm & @iamdannymitchell’s Tour Baby.”

Miranda performed “Drunk” with another one of her longtime friends and band members, Gwen Sebastian. Finally, the video got to the moment when bright pink confetti blasted from the stage. It’s a girl!

The camera stayed focused on Cameron, who was jumping up and down and celebrating in the crowd. Danny could be seen leaning over his keyboard, clearly emotional.

“It’s a baby girl y’all!” Miranda exclaimed from her spot onstage.
