Morgan Wallen only has two shows left on his Still The Problem Tour, and if you’re heading to one of them, don’t be surprised if you notice the country star walking with a bit of a limp on stage.

Wallen injured himself during his recent show at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Friday night. The singer was heading backstage after the concert, and while he was greeting fans in the stands, he accidentally rolled his ankle.

Later, Wallen shared a video on his Instagram Stories showing the exact moment he twisted it.

“Michigan, if I appear somewhat hobbled tonight, it’s cause I am,” he wrote on top of the clip.

Wallen also posted a close-up photo of how badly his ankle bent.

The injury was so painful that as soon as Wallen was out of the crowd’s view, he went down on the ground, grabbing his ankle.

After a few seconds, the 33-year-old was able to get back on his feet and keep walking. Even so, it was obvious he was in extreme pain because he was grimacing with every step as he limped away.

Even with the injury, Wallen didn’t let it stop him. He was back on stage the very next day for his second night in Michigan and powered through the show.

Morgan Wallen Teases A New Era

Wallen will wrap up his tour with two final shows at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on July 31 and August 1.

After that, he will likely take some well-deserved time off to rest. However, Wallen also shared that he’ll use the extra free time to work on new music.

During his show over the weekend, he reflected on his time touring in support of his album I’m The Problem, and now that the chapter’s coming to an end, he’s already working on new material.

“It’s a little bittersweet because we’re getting to the end of this tour and kinda the end of this album’s era, I’d guess you’d say,” Wallen said to the audience. “I ain’t really sure exactly what I’m gonna do next, but I do know that I’ve been in the studio, been making a lot of music. I’m excited about it.”

He recently released one of those new songs, too. On Friday, July 24, he dropped his first solo single of the year, “Been By Now.”

Looks like fans could be getting a new album from Wallen sooner than they thought. In the meantime, you can listen to “Been By Now” below.
