Morgan Wallen Brings Lainey Wilson On Stage For Surprise Duet
on Aug 05, 2024
The crowd at a recent Morgan Wallen concert was treated to a big surprise when he brought Lainey Wilson on stage for an unexpected duet.
On August 1, Wallen brought his One Night at a Time tour to Kansas City, performing at Arrowhead Stadium for two consecutive nights.
Country sensation Lainey Wilson joined in on the excitement by opening up for Wallen, a role she had taken on during previous tour dates but had stepped away from to focus on her own skyrocketing career.
Since Wilson had not been on Wallen’s tour in quite some time, the two superstars took the opportunity to surprise the crowd with a duet of Wallen’s song “Lies, Lies, Lies.”

“She joined up back with us tonight in Kansas City after a little bit of hiatus,” Wallen said to the crowd as he began to introduce Wilson to the stage.
“She is a true badass and we’ve all believed in her from day one and it’s so nice to see the way that she has just blown up,” he added. “I couldn’t be happier for someone. Ya’ll make some noise for Lainey Wilson.”
Morgan Wallen had several surprises in store for the night, including bringing out the legendary country duo Brooks & Dunn.
Lainey Wilson wasn’t the only collaboration Wallen had planned for the night. Before his duet with Wilson, Morgan Wallen kicked off the show with a surprise appearance by Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn, who joined him during his signature walkout performance of “Broadway Girls.”

Later in the night, Wallen reunited with Brooks & Dunn for a rendition of their iconic #1 song from 1992, “Neon Moon.”
