Morgan Wallen Drops Possible Hint About His Next Album
on Jan 06, 2025
Fans are speculating that Morgan Wallen may have dropped some major hints about the title of his next album.
Morgan Wallen Recently Released His New Song “Smile”
On New Year’s Eve, Morgan Wallen rang in 2025 with a surprise single. He announced the release on social media with a simple caption, “Smile…out now,” alongside a video featuring clips from the song’s music video, which debuted at the same time.
The new song comes shortly after Wallen released “Love Somebody” in October and another earlier track, “Lies, Lies, Lies.”
With several new songs released over the past few months, fans are assuming that Wallen is preparing to come out with a new album. And clues in his latest music video hint that he may have just confirmed it.
Did Morgan Wallen Reveal The Title of His Upcoming Album?
So far, Wallen hasn’t shared many details about a new album. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that he may have given a big clue about its potential name.
In the music video for “Smile,” Wallen plays a superstar dealing with an unhappy relationship. Just as he’s about to talk to his love interest, he’s taken away to perform on a New Year’s Eve talk show. When he takes the stage, he is supposed to sing “Love Somebody.” Instead, he goes off track and starts performing the new song.
While watching the music video, many people noticed the phrase “Dark Til Daylight” appearing multiple times.
Fans saw that “Dark Til Daylight” was the name of the show Wallen appeared on in the video. While this could be a creative decision, they also spotted the same phrase printed on a sheet of paper hanging in the dressing room where Wallen’s character begins and ends the video.
Beneath the bold title are several tiny words arranged like a list, but the letters are too small to make out. Could this be the potential name and tracklist for his upcoming album?
I guess we will just have to wait and see! With how frequently Wallen has been dropping surprise songs over the past few months, fans might not have to wait too long for an album to drop.
