If there’s anything we love to see, it’s Toby Keith out and about. Lately, he’s been going out and about more and more, and it makes us so happy!
Lately, fans have been worried about Toby ever since he revealed in June 2022 that he had been receiving chemotherapy, radiation, and had undergone surgery for stomach cancer.
He worried fans even more when he posted a photo of himself to encourage his fans to donate to their local children’s hospital. Keith looked a bit skinner than we are used to seeing him, and due to his cancer fight, people in the comments section began to worry about his health, causing the photo to go viral.
Since that photo was taken, he has put the worriers to rest by make three surprise appearances, and playing two 2 1/2 hour shows! His first surprise appearance came towards the beginning of June when he celebrated with the Oklahoma Softball team when they won the National Championship.
On June 30, Toby and his band put on a full show, which was a surprise, at Hollywood Corners, his venue in Norman, Oklahoma.
According to his social media, he revealed that he played a 2 1/2 hour show, where he “sang all the hits plus the Bus Songs.”
They ended the post by saying, “Toby is back!”

He ended up performing back-to-back nights and had his songwriting friend Scotty Emerick join him.

We didn’t see what Toby did to celebrate…until now!
Fishing legend Jimmy Houston shared a photo of Toby celebrating his birthday. Toby was giving a thumbs up and showed off his watermelon raspberry cake.
