Becoming a blast of color and radiating light in a darkened world, Carrie Underwood unites people from all backgrounds, creeds, religions, and colors for a thundering show set to the tune of her power anthem “Love Wins.”
Her second single released off of the highly-anticipated Cry Pretty album, Underwood brings country a brand new upbeat and thundering new song that folks already love singing along to!
The powerful new song and music video tackles a lot of current events and outlines them with lyrics as hard-hitting as the song’s heavy beat.
Stray bullet and a mama cries / Her baby won’t be coming home tonight / Sirens screaming down the avenue / Just another story on the evening news
“I feel like we get really caught up in surface things and I feel like, in this world, we’re quick to get angry at each other,” Underwood told Taste of Country.
“I, I believe you and me are sisters and brothers
And I, I believe we’re made to be here for each other
And we’ll never fall if we walk hand in hand
Put a world that seems broken together again
Yeah I, I believe in the end love wins”
The vocals are unlike any other in this song – but the imagery from her video is equally amazing. Taking on what appears to be a post-apocalyptic world, Underwood unites people in a centralized location and brings immense color and music with her.
As people pour in from all over the land, she is seen center stage throwing color into the air and dancing around with folks who just had gotten there.
The overarching message is clear with each passing frame and every second you stay watching the video, the more amped up and involved you will feel – it’s truly captivating and a work of art in every sense of the word.
