He is set to join Amazon Prime in the NASCAR broadcast booth from 2025 onwards. This move comes alongside the groundbreaking news that Amazon Prime will be airing its first-ever race, the Coca-Cola 600, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway next year.

In a bold move into the world of sports, Amazon recently revealed its plans to release a new four-part documentary titled “Earnhardt” on the life of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr.

The forthcoming documentary promises an in-depth look at the remarkable life of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and the profound impact of the Earnhardt family on NASCAR. With exclusive access and unseen archival material, it aims to deliver a definitive account of this iconic American family’s journey.

The production involves a collaboration between Imagine Documentaries, NASCAR Studios, and other partners, including Dirty Mo Media, Dale Jr.’s media company.

Dale Jr. took to his social media accounts to share the news, expressing his apparent deep involvement in the project.

According to NASCAR reporter Jeff Gluck, the documentary will delve into the compelling rags to riches story of Dale Earnhardt Sr., offering “unparalleled access” to archival footage and more.

“The history of the Earnhardt family is the history of NASCAR—you can’t tell the story of one without the other—and at the center of the Earnhardt family was Dale Earnhardt Sr., the most influential figure the sport has ever known.
