Reba McEntire Engaged To Rex Linn

Reba McEntire and longtime boyfriend, Rex Linn, are officially engaged after 5 years of dating.
Country music legend Reba McEntire and actor Rex Linn confirmed their engagement during a red carpet appearance before Sunday night’s Primetime Emmy Awards. The announcement came in an exclusive interview with Zuri Hall, host of Live From E!: 2025 Emmys.

Hall referred to Rex as Reba’s fiancé during the interview, to which they replied, “We’re having a blast on Happy’s Place and so glad to be here tonight.”
A representative for McEntire confirmed the engagement news to PEOPLE.
Reba and Rex first met in 1991 on the set of The Gambler.
“We instantly bonded over living in Oklahoma and our love for horses and acting,” she wrote of their first meeting. “He made me laugh, and we became good buddies.”
The couple stayed in touch but didn’t connect romantically until they reunited on the set of “Young Sheldon.” They began dating in 2020.

In a 2024 interview, Reba shared that she would gladly say “I do” to Rex, if he wanted to get married.
“If that’s something he feels totally strong about, that’s fine with me,” Reba said. “He’s never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”
During a guest appearance on her sister Susie’s show on Circle TV called Jesus Calling: Stories of Faith, Reba opened up about her feelings about Rex and shared why their relationship is so special.
“I’ve waited 66 years for a man to pray with and to share a faith and love of the Lord and to be compassionate and have a compassionate heart,” she said. “That’s very special.”
This will mark Reba McEntire’s third marriage. She was previously married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987 and to Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015.
