It is shaping up to be a monumental year for country heartthrob Riley Green. Fresh on the heels of his ACM win for Music Event of the Year, he is getting ready to take the big red seat as the newest coach on NBC’s The Voice. Additionally, he made his television acting debut earlier this year in the series Marshals.
The Alabama native is currently on the road for his Cowboy As It Gets tour and has new music coming down the pipeline.

Riley Green Releases “Think As You Drunk”
On Monday, May 25th, Riley Green revealed that his next single would drop in just three days. With no additional details beyond a title and date, the announcement featured a photo of Green lying on a barroom floor, a stein of beer raised in the air.
Today, May 28th, “Think As You Drunk” dropped on all platforms. The playful drinking tune tells the story of a bar patron who has had one too many. The chorus plays:
“I ain’t as think as you drunk I am
Don’t pay no mind to this mountain of crushed up cans
No, I can’t say my C B A’s
But I can sing ya every song that jukebox plays.”
The song ends with a sample of Toby Keith’s “Good As I Once Was.” Riley told Billboard that before the song was finished, they played it for Toby’s manager and family. He recalled:
“They completely thought it was a tip of the cap to Toby, so they wanted to have his vocal on it.”
