Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Tie The Knot In New York City

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce officially tied the knot in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.

The couple’s romance first sparked speculation in July 2023, when fans noticed Kelce attending one of Taylor’s Eras Tour concerts. After the show, Travis revealed on his New Heights podcast that he had hoped to give the singer a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, though he never got the chance. The story quickly gained attention, with Taylor later acknowledging it herself.

In the months that followed, the pair made their relationship public. She famously attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023 to cheer on Travis, and by October, the two were seen leaving an Saturday Night Live after-party hand-in-hand, confirming what fans had long suspected.

Since then, the couple’s romance has captivated fans, culminating in Travis’ proposal in August 2025.

Although the couple kept most wedding details private, sources had previously revealed that the ceremony was set to take place over the holiday weekend.

The couple reportedly opted to forgo traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her “Man of Honor,” while Jason’s brother, Jason Kelce, stood by his side as Best Man. Actor and comedian Adam Sandler reportedly officiated the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, the jumbotrons outside Madison Square Garden announced the newlyweds with a celebratory message reading, “JUST&T MARRIED!”

One Country Star Explains Why She Missed The Big Day

Among the massive guest list were several country music stars, however one notable icon wasn’t in attendance.

Shania Twain revealed that she had to miss the wedding because she was already committed to opening for Harry Styles during his 12-show Wembley Stadium residency in London.

In an interview with Etalk, Shania explained that although she “would have done anything” to attend the big day, her concert schedule made it impossible to be there.

She then joked, saying if Harry ever gets married he’ll have to ask her more in advance if he really wants Shania there.
