‘The Madison’ Stars Tease Season 3 Filming Timeline Before Season 2 Premiere

A few stars of the hit Paramount+ show The Madison have offered some insight into when they’ll be heading back to work to film the emotional series.
The Madison Premiered In March 2026
In March 2026, Paramount+ debuted The Madison, which starred Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, Matthew Fox, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Alaina Pollack, Danielle Vasinova, and Will Arnett.
Pfeiffer plays Stacy Clyburn as she navigates the untimely death of her husband, Preston, played by Kurt Russell.
The show follows Stacy as she relocates to the Montana property where her husband and his brother, who also passed away, spent a lot of their time. Even after two decades of marriage, Stacy never made it out to Montana, so she decided to find out more about the place her husband loved.
Through his journal, she finds out he had big plans for his life in Montana, and she decides to make his dreams come true by selling their New York City penthouse and permanently moving to Montana and building a new life there.
Unlike most shows, The Madison filmed Seasons One and Two at the same time due to Kurt Russell’s schedule.
In April 2026, Paramount+ Was Renewed For Season 3
On April 14, it was announced that The Madison was renewed for Season 3 before Season 2 even premiered.
While we wait for Season 2 to come out, we already have some news about the cast for Season Three. Although his character died in the first episode of the series, Kurt Russell will be back for Season 3.
He is able to still be a star in the show in flashbacks.
Season 3 will likely also feature Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Will Arnett.
Matthew Fox, who played Paul Clyburn, shared that he only signed on for the show’s first season.
When Will Season 3 Be Filmed?
With Season 2 already done filming, fans are wondering two things: when can we expect Season 2, and when will Season 3 begin filming?
Thanks to a quick interview over the weekend, one of the actors from the show, Kevin. Zegers, revealed when he is going back on location to film!
He revealed that it was nice to film the first two seasons back to back because they didn’t have any fan input on how the first season went to influence their acting decisions on the second season.
He said, “Having made the second now, we’re going back to make the third at the beginning of next year.”
Zegers plays Cade Harris, a local cowboy and neighbor of the Clyburn family in Montana. Following Preston and Paul’s deaths, Cade becomes a support for Stacy, bringing her and the family meals, and guides Stacy through her new life.
Cade, his wife, Kestrel, played by Danielle Vasinova, and their three children portray a stark contrast to the family dynamic the Clyburns are used to, and provide a refreshing community-oriented lifestyle that you can often find in towns like the one The Madison is set in.
When Will Season 2 Premiere?
At the same event, Zegers on-screen wife was interviewed and she revealed that we can expect Season 2 to premiere at the “top of 2027.”
“Stay tuned,” Vasinova said excitedly.
