Another Coach Has Been Confirmed For Season 30 Of The Voice

On April 14, the same night Season 29 of The Voice ended, the show revealed the name of the first coach to sign up for Season 30.

That coach was Adam Levine, who won Season 29 with his team member Alexia Jayy. Levine was one of the show’s original coaches, and he remained on the show through Season 16 before taking an extended break.

He returned for Seasons 27 and 29, and is looking forward to the show’s landmark 30th season this fall.

I will be back. I’m having so much fun doing it,” Levine told PEOPLE. “Since I came back a few seasons ago it’s just been a blast and I’m super happy to keep it going as long as they’ll have me.

Now, the show has revealed the name of the second coach confirmed to be joining Season 30. Like Levine, this coach is a returning champion and was on the panel for Season 29.

The one and only Kelly Clarkson will be back for another spin in her famous red chair!

“Please give a warm welcome back to Coach Kelly Clarkson! The Voice returns this fall,” the show announced on social media on Thursday (May 7).

Kelly Clarkson’s History With The Voice

Kelly Clarkson is one of the most successful coaches in Voice history. She joined the show in Season 14, which she won with her team member Brynn Cartelli.

Clarkson remained on the show through Season 21. She won Seasons 15, 17, and 21 with Chevel Shepherd, Jake Hoot, and Girl Named Tom, respectively.

She took a single-season break before returning to coach Season 23 in 2023. She was able to celebrate with her good friend and original Voice coach, Blake Shelton, who left the show after Season 23 ended.

Clarkson took another break after Season 23 and made her highly anticipated return for Season 29 earlier this year (2026).

During the season, she got the chance to reunite with her former champions, Jake Hoot and Girl Named Tom. They participated in the “All-Star Showdown” and won, giving Clarkson the power to bring a second artist to Season 29’s finale. She came in second place with her team member, Liv Ciara.

After coming this close to winning Season 29, Clarkson is still eyeing her fifth victory and surely hoping to achieve it during Season 30. Stay tuned for more details concerning her involvement in the new season…and for the reveal of the other coaches!
