Season 30 of The Voice is getting ready to roll into its live shows. Each episode will have a theme, and The Voice just revealed all of the themes in an announcement on November 1.

Before the live shows begin, the show will transition into its first-ever “Cut Week.” This new phase of the competition is pre-taped and replaces the traditional Knockouts and Playoffs.

Described by NBC as the “biggest elimination” in the show’s history, 28 contestants will compete during Cut Week, but only 13 will advance.

After Cut Week, The Voice will start the live shows. Weeks 1 and 2 will be themed after Y2K, with those episodes airing on November 9 and November 16.

Country music fans will want to mark their calendars for the episode airing on November 23. That show will serve as a tribute to Dolly Parton, who passed away on August 25.

Dolly had a history with The Voice, serving as a mentor to all four of the coaches during Season 9 in 2015.

Fans can watch the Dolly tribute episode from 9-10 PM ET on Monday, November 23. The episode will air on NBC or be available to stream on Peacock the following day (Tuesday, November 24).

The Top 10 contestants will perform that night. We obviously don’t know who those contestants will be quite yet, but we hope to see fan-favorite singers such as Joe Henley and Dollywood performers Ferryn & Brinkley on that episode.

The Voice Reveals More Details About Season 30 & Its Finale

After Dolly Parton night, The Voice will host a TikTok-themed evening on November 30.

Then, the show’s semi-finals start on December 7. That episode doesn’t have a theme yet, but it may get one eventually.

The finale will air on December 14. Because of its proximity to Christmas, we wouldn’t be surprised if the finalists sing a holiday-themed song (or two) that evening.

This has been the case with other finales that have aired in December. For example, when she was a coach, Reba McEntire joined her finalist, Aubrey Nicole, to sing “Mary, Did You Know?” during the Season 28 finale.

Please note that The Voice no longer airs on Tuesdays. So all of the upcoming episodes air on Monday only.

Which Dolly Parton songs are you looking forward to hearing on the show later in November? And which contestants would you like to hear sing them?
