Thomas Rhett & Wife Are Pregnant – AGAIN!

Already the proud parents to two beautiful young girls, this country music superstar (and the son to a country legend) joined his wife to announced a big change for their family – coming in just under 9 months!

Thomas Rhett Akins and wife Lauren Akins have been married since 2012, but it wasn’t until 2017 that they decided to start a family – and along with that came one of the biggest surprise of their lifetime! The two had decided to adopt a young girl from Uganda, and almost as quickly as they became a family – they found out that Lauren was actually pregnant, too!

Now, it appears the family of four is growing to become a family of five! And Thomas doesn’t want to just stop there!

“If we stopped having kids now, I know I’d wake up at 45 and go, ‘We should’ve had five more,’ ” he told People Magazine. “Because I really do want to be able to sit at a Thanksgiving or Christmas table with the most gigantic family on the planet.”

In the new reveal from Thomas and Lauren, they both shared a series of family photos (and gender reveal) to their social media channels along with a beautiful statement.

“We decided we didn’t have enough princess dresses around the house so we’re adding another Akins baby girl to the family early next year ?????? despite Thomas Rhett’s initial shock (swipe to see video ?) we are absolutely over the moon for our baby girl!” Lauren wrote.

“Our girls cannot wait to meet their little sister ?? Willa Gray prays for her every night (heart in a puddle every time??) & she and Ada James love to touch my belly and talk to her?????-especially bc I’ve been showing since I was SEVEN weeks (?). So it feels like we have been hiding this secret for an ETERNITY. And I’d like to apologize to everyone I’ve canceled on, said no to or just been MIA, but for a second there I wasn’t sure if I was pregnant or just puked for a living?. But she’s soooo worth it????? We are SO excited! & if you need TR you can find him in the camping section at REI buying dude things…….jk, he’s excited too ?”
