On Monday (Dec. 25), the legendary country music star graced social media with a peek into his family’s holiday celebrations. He posted a picture featuring himself alongside his wife, Tricia, and their two daughters, Shelley Covel Rowland and Krystal Keith, as well as his son, Stelen Keith Covel, and their grandchildren, capturing a sweet and picture-perfect family portrait.
“Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from my family to yours,” Keith wrote alongside the family photo.
The gathering differed from the usual casual tone of family holiday get-togethers. Instead of opting for pajamas, the family wore elegant dresses and blazers. Keith, of course, had on his signature cowboy hat.

It’s been two years since Toby Keith received a diagnosis of stomach cancer. Since then, he has been gradually reemerging into the public eye, with the past few months marked by numerous live performances and even a televised appearance at the People’s Choice Country Awards.
In a recent interview with Audacy’s Katie & Company, the country superstar candidly discussed his renewed sense of gratitude and provided an update on his health.
Keith, 62, admitted that his stomach cancer diagnosis caused a major shift in his life and priorities, sharing, “When you get diagnosed [with cancer], you just freak. And here it is two years later…[family] things are more important than anything, and I’m so blessed.”
“I’m doing really good. It’s been a tough two years, but I think I’m turning a corner. I don’t know if you’re ever done with [cancer], but I’m trying to be.”
During another interview on the sports podcast, Sellout Crowd, Keith described his experience with cancer as a “rollercoaster” and expressed how he is fortunate enough to access the “best treatments” available.
“I have the resources financially and otherwise to get the best treatments I can get. They’re taking great care of me and I’m getting all the latest stuff you can get. In fact, I’m going to Florida to see another guy down there that’s got some other kind of treatments and I’m trying them all.”
We are thrilled to hear that he is feeling better! Listen to his interview with Bob Stoops on Sellout Crowd below.
