In December 2025, Donald Trump Jr., the oldest son of President Donald Trump, announced his engagement to girlfriend Bettina Anderson.
Trump Jr. began dating the model and Palm Beach socialite one year before. He took the opportunity during a Christmas Reception at the White House to announce the big news.
“It’s not often that I’m at a loss for words ‘cause we usually do the ranting and raving really well,” Trump Jr. said at the time.
He went on to thank Anderson “for that one word, ‘yes,’” before describing the nerves he felt about popping the question.
“When you go down there, it’s like, you’re gonna go, and you’re trying to ask, and you’re not sure what the answer’s gonna be. It’s always a little bit rough. But she said yes, which is a big win for the end of the year,” Trump Jr. continued.

Donald Trump Jr. Marries Bettina Anderson
Trump Jr. and Anderson tied the knot in a lavish wedding in the Bahamas over the weekend. Many members of the Trump family attended the big event, although the President was not able to attend over “circumstances” pertaining to the Government.
The couple legally wed in Palm Beach County, Florida, before holding the private ceremony in the Bahamas.
Ivanka Trump gave followers a glimpse inside the wedding celebrations by sharing several behind-the-scenes photos from the festivities. Among the images were moments featuring her niece, Kai Trump, the eldest daughter of Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump.
Lara Trump, wife of the President’s son Eric, also posted photos from the weekend.
President Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany, whom he shares with actress Marla Maples, also posted a carousel of photos from the big weekend.
The bride posted a little glimpse into the weekend, calling it the “celebration of a lifetime.”
Who Is Bettina Anderson?
Born and raised in Florida, Anderson comes from a prominent Palm Beach family. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in art history and later became known in social and philanthropic circles for her modeling work and environmental advocacy.
Anderson co-founded The Paradise Fund, a nonprofit organization focused on disaster relief and environmental conservation efforts in Florida. She has also supported organizations including the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County and The Everglades Foundation.
