Bon Jovi Is On Their First Tour In Four Years
After four years away from full-scale live performances, Bon Jovi’s return to the stage is a significant milestone for one of rock’s most legendary bands.
The hiatus was largely driven by Jon Bon Jovi’s ongoing recovery from vocal cord issues that required major surgery and extensive rehabilitation.

The band announced their return to the stage back in October, thrilling their longtime fans, proving that the appetite for their music remains as strong as ever.
The band’s Forever Tour was first announced with just four dates at Madison Square Garden, followed by one show each at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Croke Park, and Wembley Stadium.
Demand was so high, they added five more nights at Madison Square Garden and two more at Wembley Stadium.
Jon Bon Jovi Ended The 8th Show Early
According to fans in attendance, Bon Jovi told the sold-out crowd that he’s been battling a sinus infection, but was still going to sing for as long as he could.
After performing for 90 minutes, as reported by People, the legendary band’s frontman invited Train’s lead singer Pat Monahan back to the stage to help him sing “Livin’ On A Prayer.”
After that song, Bon Jovi told the crowd, “Don’t throw away your ticket stubs I’m going to figure something out okay, don’t [fear]. Just hang onto it, I’m going to figure out how to reschedule.”
Before exiting the stage, the singer told the Madison Square garden crowd, “I’m gonna have to cool it for a night. I feel great, I’ll see you again soon, bye bye.”
Setlist FM reports that Bon Jovi performed 14 of their usual 23 songs, so there was a decent amount of concert left the be played.
The band’s rep released a statement to People, saying:
“Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage and told fans he has been battling a sinus infection which led to the show’s early ending. As part of the Bon Jovi residency at Madison Square Garden, Jon has said numerous times that it has been a joy to return to live shows for the band. Updated information will be available shortly.”
He has a few days to recover, with their last MSG show on Sunday, July 26th. Wishing Jon the best as he recovers from the sinus infection.
