When it comes to country music legends, Wynonna Judd has one of the most iconic voices in the history of singing honky-tonk tunes. And this holiday season, she’s gearing up to spread some festive cheer like never before. The multi-talented singer-songwriter has just revealed some exciting news that’s sure to have her fans counting down the days until December 7th.

Wynonna Judd has officially signed on to host the star-studded two-hour show, Christmas At The Opry, which will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock. While the details of the performers remain a secret for now, one thing is certain – this show promises to be a holiday event like no other.

The concert will film at the Grand Ole Opry House on October 3 and tickets are available to the public. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Wynonna To Receive The Country Champion Award

Following a heartbreaking year after the death of her mother, Judd has seen a career resurgence. She will be presented with the prestigious Country Champion Award at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards on September 28th, an event that will be available for streaming on Peacock the following day.

Cassandra Tryon, the senior vice president of live events at NBC Universal Entertainment, couldn’t be more thrilled about the choice.

“Wynonna is one of the most recognized and lauded performers in country music,” Cassandra said in a statement, according to Yahoo. “Not only is she incredibly talented, her selflessness and passion for putting the needs of others in the spotlight is unmatched. We can’t think of a better person to honor as our inaugural ‘Country Champion’ and to celebrate the holidays with across these two major country music events.”

Wynonna Judd’s New Tour “Back to Wy” Is Coming Soon

In case you missed the exciting announcement last month, she’s also gearing up for a brand-new concert tour titled “Back to Wy.” During this tour, Wynonna will treat fans to her classic hits from her first two solo albums, Wynonna (1992) and Tell Me Why (1993).

With a heart as big as Nashville, she’s the perfect choice for the Opry to choose to host the event.
