Zach Top has confirmed that his third album is on the way.

Washington native Zach Top has been praised for bringing a classic country sound to the modern generation. He made a splash with his debut album Cold Beer & Country Music, which was released in April 2024.

On the project, Zach Top earned his first-ever top-ten hit with “I Never Lie.” The song reached number two on the US Country Airplay chart and has been certified 2x platinum by the RIAA.

The 28-year-old followed that momentum with his sophomore record, Ain’t In It For My Health, released in August 2025. The album earned him his first-ever Grammy Award in the newly minted Best Traditional Country Album category.

Additionally, Zach was named New Artist of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards and received a Male Artist of the Year nomination at last week’s ACM Awards.

Zach Top’s Third Album Will Arrive In 2027

As he embarks on the second year of his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour, Zach confirms that new music is in the works. During a recent visit to the Zach Sang Show, the musician discussed the timeline for his next record.

The “South of Sanity” singer explains that his demanding tour schedule and rapid spike in popularity over the last two years have made it difficult to focus on writing. However, he was able to take a break from the road earlier this year to work on new music. He shares:

It’s a different headspace for me. When I’m on the road doing the show thing, that’s where my head’s at. It took being off the road for two months to reconfigure my mindset to get back into that writing mode, so we spent a bunch of January and February doing that.”

Finally, Zach confirms that the record should come during the first half of 2027. He says:

“Hopefully, sometime in [the] first or second quarter of ’27 I got a new record coming.”
