Reba McEntire is a multitalented performer. She can sing a song that'll shock a person, a tune that tells a story, or one that'll fill our heart with warmth like "Angel's Lullaby".
"Angel's Lullaby" was first heard during a season finale episode of her hit sitcom Reba. The episode was titled It Ain't Over 'Till The Redhead Sings, and that's exactly what she did following the birth of her character, Reba Hart's, granddaughter, Elizabeth Montgomery.
The emotional scene shows Reba cradling baby Elizabeth in her arms with such tenderness. Reba expresses so much love in this moment as she sings her sweet granddaughter a lullaby that could very well surpass all others.
"Now I believe in miracles, and you're the reason why."
How beautiful is that? Anyone who has ever held a newborn baby can attest to that heartwarming feeling. Reba really puts her all into this and we can't get enough of it.
Midnight moonlight shining through the curtain lace
Paints a perfect picture on your perfect face
One sweet angel sleeping in my arms
You are the promise I knew God would keep
You are the gift that makes my world complete
And you'll never know how much I love you
But I'll keep on telling you my whole life through
Now I believe in miracles, and you're the reason why
So dream on while I sing you my angel's lullaby
