Three days after the news went public about her divorce from Jelly Roll, Bunnie Xo released an emotional tell-all podcast episode about the split.

In the latest episode of her Dumb Blond Podcast, Bunnie Xo answered all of the questions surrounding her recent split from Jelly Roll. She addressed rumors, what led Jelly Roll to file for divorce, their future plans, and much more.

1. Bunnie Xo credits Jelly Roll for saving her life.

Bunnie spoke about her past as a drug dealer and high-end escort, something she is very open about on her podcast and in her book. She told listeners that she believes that meeting Jelly Roll, whom she refers to as “J” throughout the episode, saved her life.

“I really, truly feel that had I not got with my husband, that I would be dead from an abusive relationship or doing drugs or getting caught up in a hotel room with a trick,” she said. “I truly feel that my husband saved me from that.”

2. Jelly Roll gave her their new “dream” house as part of the divorce settlement.

Bunnie shared that she and Jelly are ending their marriage on great terms and have already settled the split.

“J and I have been building our dreamhouse. We bought a compound, and we’ve been building our dream house for the past year,” Bunnie said. “J is so sweet that he’s giving me the compound in the divorce because he knows how special it is to me.”

There are three homes on the property. One will belong to Bunnie, and two of her friends will be moving into the other homes. At the end of the podcast, she teased that there might be a TV show about her move onto the compound.

3. They’re still best friends.

Multiple times throughout the podcast episode, Bunnie said that Jelly Roll is her best friend. At one point, she told listeners that she “will always protect him.”

Bunnie feels that they “served their purpose for each other,” and are ending their marriage in the best possible way.

4. Bunnie says IVF was not a “beautiful journey.”

Bunnie opened up about the emotional toil her IVF journey took on her, saying,” It completely wrecked me.” She said that the process of IVF made her “a shell of who I was.”

She revealed that she and Jelly Roll had three transfers, including a set of twins, and lost all of the babies. The losses caused her to grow angry and question why they weren’t being blessed with a child.

5. They’re still having a baby together.

Despite the losses, Bunnie shared that she and Jelly Roll still plan to welcome a child together and will co-parent.

“Y’all are gonna be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby together,” Bunnie announced. “We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.”

She added later in the episode that she and Jelly are excited to welcome a child together.

6. Jelly Roll is already dating.

“My husband is ready to date,” Bunnie said. “He’s even started dating, and I love that.”

She encouraged listeners to reach out to Jelly via DM. “His DMs are open … don’t be scared. Everybody go hit him up. Shoot your shot. I will be the ex-wife and we’ll have a great time.”

Bunnie said that she will welcome a new woman into Jelly’s life “with open arms.”

“He needs a really sweet girl who is normal,” she said. “I think he wants the complete opposite, right now, of me, which is what he deserves.”

Bunnie disclosed that Jelly Roll wants to settle down, but that she is encouraging him to “play the field.”

Bunnie Xo shut down rumors that she is dating Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. She addressed the speculation caused by the “overkill” of posts including Nickelback songs and a video of her hugging Kroeger backstage at a Jelly Roll concert.

“I am not with Daddy Chaddy. There’s no way … that would be a thing. No, I did not cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad. None of that,” she said. “I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing. I love them and I would never.”

8. Bunnie Xo reveals what led to their divorce.

Bunnie revealed that the toll of IVF treatments and the loss of four babies caused her to “lose her sparkle.” She added that the stress of the process caused her and Jelly Roll to stop communicating.

As a result, she grew depressed trying to deal with the losses on her own and stopped “pouring into” herself and stopped “chasing” Jelly and nurturing their relationship. Things came to a head on Mother’s Day, when the couple had a fight, leading Bunnie to tell him to file for divorce.

She packed a bag, then left and didn’t speak to him “for weeks” until she was notified that he had filed for divorce.

9. The decision to divorce was not mutual.

The podcast host told listeners that despite her telling Jelly Roll to file for divorce, the decision was not mutual.

“Was I blindsided, and was this mutual? No, even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and just frustration,” she said. “But was it necessary for us to have a wake-up call and start having these conversations? Absolutely.”

Bunnie said that she hoped they would go to therapy and figure things out, but her husband felt different. “I respect it. I took me a month and a half, but I respect it,” she said of Jelly’s decision. “I’m happy. I’m so, so happy. My husband and I are ending this marriage on the best possible terms.”

10. Bunnie put to rest rumors that have been swirling about their relationship.

Bunnie vehemently rejected rumors circulating that her relationship with Jelly Roll was for show and that they had a “10-year contract” that had now expired.

She also denied stories that the divorce was in response to a lawsuit and that they were splitting up to protect their assets.
