Taylor Sheridan Has Started A TV Empire
Taylor Sheridan got his start in Hollywood by acting. After he felt that wasn’t fulfilling him, he began writing screenplays. His first work, a movie titled Sicario, earned him a nomination for Best Original Screenplay at the Writers Guild of America Awards.
He was then nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 2016 film Hell Or High Water. He followed those up with 2017’s Wind River and 2018’s Sicario: Day Of Soldado.
He dove into television with the Western drama Yellowstone and eventually expanded that universe with several prequel series. His TV resume continued, creating more shows for Paramount Network and Paramount+, including Mayor Of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Lioness, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and Landman.
