An emotional double elimination on Monday’s American Idol episode revealed which 7 contestants are moving on.

Only three episodes remain until the American Idol Season 24 winner is crowned. Monday night (April 20) was Disney Night, a fan-favorite episode featuring the Top 9 singing hits from Disney movies.

EGOT winner and American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson returned to mentor the contestants and fill a fourth judge’s seat. Throughout the night, Hudson coached the remaining contestants on their Disney performances, offering advice on vocals and delivery.

The Top 9 and the songs they performed were:

Braden Rumfelt
“Remember Me” from Coco

Brooks
“The Climb” from Hannah Montana: The Movie

Chris Tungseth
“Let It Go” from Frozen

Daniel Stallworth
“A Whole New World” from Aladdin

Hannah Harper
“Almost There” from The Princess and the Frog

Jordan McCullough
“Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas

Keyla Richardson
“Circle of Life” from The Lion King

Kyndal
“Butterfly Fly Away” from Hannah Montana: The Movie

Lucas Leon
“Life is a Highway” from Cars

While all of the performances were noteworthy, a few stood out among the rest. Jordan McCullough had his breakthrough moment with his performance of “Colors of the Wind.” The judges were truly speechless, and the crowd couldn’t cheer him on enough.

Keyla Richardson’s cover of “Circle of Life” had Jennifer Hudson in tears and was easily one of Keyla’s best performances this season.

Frontrunner Hannah Harper also had a breakthrough this week by embracing a side of herself that she isn’t comfortable with – the performer. After facing backlash online for her lack of movement on stage, Hannah pushed herself to do better, and the result was a fun, sassy Disney Night performance.

Two Hopefuls Eliminated

Somehow, each elimination is surprising, with each of the remaining contestants deserving the title. But, as everyone knows, there can only be one winner.

After the voting window closed, host Ryan Seacrest announced the Top 7, one by one. Those who earned enough votes to move on in the competition were:

Daniel Stallworth
Keyla Richardson
Jordan McCullough
Chris Tungseth
Hannah Harper
Brooks Rosser
Braden Rumsfelt

Meaning that Lucas Leon and Kyndal Inskeep saw their Idol dreams come to an end.

What’s next for the Top 7?

Next week’s episode will feature the theme Taylor Swift’s Songbook. Each of the remaining contestants will sing a song from Taylor Swift’s iconic catalog, “from her early country roots to her pop anthems and everything in between,” in hopes of securing a place in the Top 5. Nikki Glaser will be on hand to serve as a guest judge.
